As a 51 year old, 5 foot 5 inch woman, I never thought I’d live my passion of hiking again. Finally, I persuaded my husband to relocate from Minnesota to North Carolina.
We were thrilled about the variety of activities available in our new surroundings, including beautiful greenery, views, and beachfronts.
Additionally, North Carolina has some amazing mountains with endless trails.
The only problem? But one thing was devastating. My scale numbers had slowly crept up, year on year. I found myself at 275 and too ashamed to even leave the house.
I suffered sudden, unexplainable plumping up before moving.
After being poked and prodded at countless doctor visits, everything came back fine, except I was still imprisoned by my body with all the extra thickness that just wouldn’t go away!
I felt depressed and lonely. I’d been living like a recluse and was unable to do any of the things I once loved!
That’s when I finally had a major, yet unexpected breakthrough… at my Dentist’s office! As I sat in the waiting room, I overheard a woman describing her transformation. I was blown away, I needed to know more!
After I asked, she told me about an odd routine which she described as a “Simple Coffee Tweak”.
I couldn’t believe how the stars aligned. I happened to be in the perfect place at the right time.
After all those sedentary years, I’m finally able to enjoy hiking again!
